i need brakes and rotors. i bought cheap pads and cheap rotors before and they wore out in under a year and the rotors have done nothing but warp the whole time.

this time im looking for better options.

i went to tire rack which appears to be the cheapest place and am looking at this combo.

akebono proact ceramics http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brakes.j ... perfCode=P

centric premium rotors

http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brakes.j ... perfCode=S

anybody have any insight on these items?

i wanted the brembo blanks and the hawk hps but i cant afford it they are 144 after shipping. the combo i have above is 117 shipped

my current setup is.

napa cheapest rotors and wearever cheapest pads

The problem is your pads. Hard pads wear the rotor. Good pads wear themselves out and leave the rotor mint.
