Looks super clean. Are you using a gun, or are you some sort of spraybomb ninja?

spraybomb ninja FTW

the only problem i have, the picture doesnt show is, the metallic gold spray was blowing chunks at time (typical of aerosol) so they arent completely smooth. but i can live with it.

im uploading the freshly cleared ones now.

i still have the badly curbed wheel to work on, i left it outside in the sun after the first coat of primer and left the house....then i forgot about them and it rained on them. the primer never cured and looked like hell.

three are done, one of them needs work.

its got alot of marks in them.

i dont want to go through the trouble of filling them, but i dont want it to look like ***** either.

still debating what im going to do.

although i need them done now so that they will be ready for the meet, i need a week for them to cure before i can reinstall the tires without effing them up

i warmed them in the sun.

i did get a spot of water on one, dunno how i did, but i had to quick fix one of the wheels.

you can still see the mark where the water drop was, but it will be ok.

finishing them up with final coats of clear now.

if the sun would come out for a good week ill bake em in the sun for a few days

got them on.

mounting the tires scraped some of the paint offf, as well as balancing them..pretty pissed off. i should have used a better quality paint.

not sure if i like the gold as much as i would white. so if i redo them i may redo them in white

NICE Dude...
Clean up those side skirts / moldings, and things should be looking super clean.

This is what pisses me off. all the time and prep and everything and this paint just sucks.

even gave them a week to cure

ill have to redo them with something better. an acrylic enamel is the strongest thing i can get in aerosol form.

god it sucks

yes its an acrylic enamel. the only thing is they only carry a couple of colors.

i could do them in bronze instead of gold

or i could gunmetal them. i already have two cans of duplicolor wheel coating gun metal in my parents garage
