OKAYSo, I got the car tuesday. Yesterday was wednesday, i think. So lets start there haha
Yesterday:
Right when I got outta class (10:50am) I began working on the car.

Its not a looker I get it. But I got this car for 500 dollars with a clean title, doesnt smoke, and doesnt drip which is much much more than I can say for my impreza. The Legacy is a 4wd(says the badge on the front, altho its rlly awd) 5 speed which is what I wanted. It has power windows, working AC/Heat, ABS good brakes, and the rims ive wanted for some time. So No matter what, this car was worth it to me personally (and I dig the body style)
The car is damaged. It was hit in Nov. by someone who didnt wanna stick around and pay for the damage. What I was told was that only the control arm was damaged. Hard to believe.
Before I could get under the car the fender had to go. Which is normally just acouple of bolts but rlly was a pain in the ass because some of the brackets by the corner light (or where it use to be) were broken. A bitch to get off but didnt take insanely too much when u force the brackets to do what you want haha.

and I thought hell. y not take a pic of the car on its good side for once

Now pulling apart the car, I wanted to get this thing running quick. The impreza has alot of of troubles so I wanted to drive the wagon as soon as possible. The control arm is the exact same from my impreza to the legacy which is good for me. FREE is better than what subaru quoted me.

Im not the best at looking at things and deciding if its broken or not. But hell, I rlly only noticed the control arm bend and the sway bar was bent too.
Pulling off the leggy arm was easy, didnt have any trouble pulling it from the bearing. Sadly the impreza was a different story. It was a bitch haha

Here is the broken one. There is a good indication that its broke haha.
Sadly tho, the bracket connecting part of the arm was bent as well, so some elbow grease was needed to squeeze it in there, ultimately though, the arm was in and the car was ready to go. Drove it last night, seemed ok but something wasnt right.
Today:
Today I was heading to school and the control of the car seemed off, something was right, the car was swaying. I thought maybe the sway bar was effecting it. But no. no no no no no!
It was the simple fact of the tire! I new the front one was cut up from the reck but it was holding air just fine.

It was the rear I completely forgot about. It was losing air fast and effecting the car worse than I thought. And before I could get air in it BOOM, it decided to part ways with me.

It looks much better in the picture, but the tire is got shredded! Thank god I wasnt far from home. But I dont like spares, so I needed to get some wheels on here before heading all the way to asheville. an hour and 30 mins late to school but the car was running much better after I put the steelies on the wagon.

After I got home from school, i cleaned the car up some more. Cut off the dragging head sheild from the exhaust (needs an exhaust right now lol) and cleaned cleaned cleaned!!
So I took acouple of crappy pix but it looks so much better now than it did when I got it.
here is the crap cellphone pic lol (like it cuz u can see the clean!)
